The Swimming lesson
Everyone of us keeps a memorable moment that happened in our life even when we were still child. We call memorable or unforgettable when it is a happy moment or an accident if it caused negative results. These happy or sad moments have a way in sticking in our minds.
As for me, I learned a lesson when I was four years old. It was a hot summer so we went somewhere in Manila which had a swimming pool. We went there with my kind aunt and uncle, my older cousins, my beautiful godmother and her boyfriend. My chubby cousin Angelica and I went to the kids pool. We swam, we used the slide and ran around the pool. All of us had fun. But my cousin and I were already tired and we were also getting bored. So we joined our aunt and uncle in the other pool. We sat beside the pool putting our foot into the cool and clean water. But I am not contented so I went down into the water slowly. I suddenly found myself immersed in the water. And that I was already drowning. My godmother's boyfriend the one who saved me out of the water.
Most people die after one try of drowning...and then tomorrow they do it again. We should not just go to the deep part of the pool even if it's side only.
